That's Exhausting - Building the best exhaust system possible

The MotoWorks Suzuki GT380 build is a wonderful combination of art and science. There is definitely an art to building a bike like this, but for something like an exhaust system, we used science. We designed the Suzuki 2 stroke motor exhaust's expansion chambers using MOTA to maximize the HP of this small engine. With a stock HP of only 38, we're hoping it'll be producing around 60 HP when all is said and done. Lofty goals? Perhaps, but why not try.

The Material we chose for the pipes was 24 gauge stainless steel. The pieces were all laser cut to minimize the tolerances. Each piece was hand bent and spot welded into place before the final welds were applied.

Considering the bike has 3 cylinders designing visual symmetry and balance with the exhaust system was literally impossible. As you can see the entire design was a matter of function over form, and we're ok with that.

The Muffler tips we're all made out of stainless steel as well. We think this bike is going to sound just as awesome as it looks, but for now, we'll have to wait and see.
