Wire framing to visualize the body panels
For the MotoWorks GT380 Concept bike, we'll be fabricating the body panels ourselves. All the bikes we make are hand built from the ground up including most major and minor components. For the GT380 we want to re-create the look of the original concept drawings as best we can. The concept drawings by Jeremy Lacy of Downshift Studio gave us a great starting point, but bringing this concept to life in a 3D environment meant we have to create this look physically using wireframe sculpting techniques. The wireframes help to visualize the body panel shape and placement. Once this is completed we can bring that information back into the virtual world using Solid Works. From there we will have a 3D map of what the panels physical dimensions will be.
